We pride ourselves on providing eye care in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for the whole family, and for all types of families. It is important for us that we are on time for your exam, but sometimes we do get behind due to eye emergencies or other unanticipated eye issues, we will do our best to let you know if we are behind schedule.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR EYE EXAM:

  • New patients should arrive 15 before your appointment to fill out paperwork
  • Test for vision and prescription glasses
  • Glaucoma test (usually using drops)
  • Dilation of pupils to examine the retina
  • Photographs of the retina may be offered

WHAT TO BRING FOR YOUR EXAM:

  • Any eyeglasses you wear and any glasses you’ve been prescribed, but cannot use
    Sunglasses (prescription or non-prescription)
  • List of your medications and allergies to medications
  • Some people feel more comfortable bringing a driver if being dilated

CONTACT LENS WEARERS:

  • Wear your contact lenses to the exam
  • Bring any boxes, foils, or other information about your contact lens prescription
  • Name of your solutions for cleaning
