A Message Upon His Retirement
In the spring of 2001, I opened Village Eye Care with the goal of developing a ‘small-town’ eyecare practice guided by good old-fashion values. Prior to opening Village Eye Care, I practiced over 20 years in a variety of settings, including teaching at two optometry colleges, working at the country’s leading eye hospital in Miami, Florida, and at ophthalmology practices both in Florida and in the Pioneer Valley.
Those first 20 years gave me the tools and experience to provide high quality eye care to my patients here in the Pioneer Valley, with a focus on personalized, compassionate care to all my patients. After 20 years, serving over 18,000 patients at Village Eye Care (over 40 years as an optometrist in total), it was time to retire. In the words of John F. Kennedy at his inauguration, “Let the word go forth … that the torch has been passed to a new generation …” Dr. Morin represents the new generation of optometrists, and you will be in good hands.
Thank you for your support and friendship, it has been a pleasure and an honor to serve you.
